Hussain Al Lawati is an experienced IT Professional, Business Solution Executive, Digital Transformation Strategist, Innovation Leader & Leadership Executor with wealth of experience in the fields of core banking, digitalization and digital transformation within the banking industry. He comes from an engineering background, holds an MBA and was part of couple of leadership programs. In his career, he has supported the setup and the go-live of the first Islamic Banking window in Oman and led couple of core migration and core upgrade activities. As part of Digital Transformation & Digital Delivery, Hussain was a member of the transformation group who has supported defining, setting the right KPIs for digital business delivery/digital transformation strategy, leading the establishment of digital transformation platform in one of the leading banks in Oman. He was also a key member in setting up the first Hackathon platform in Oman in the banking industry and has supported establishing multiple innovation hubs, creating innovation culture and leading digital transformation across multiple industries. He is aspired to make difference in community and help Oman transform digitally.
